To participate in the event you need to be currently registered at Mission College, and to:
- Register on this site
- Gather a team of 3-5 students
- Attend the Pre-Event Mixer (April 10th, in GC226 at 12:30 PM), and get hacking!
Students will have access to the Gillmor Center labs and computers during the event.
Note: The Hackathon theme and Challenge will be announced approximately 3-5 days prior to the event.
You are responsible for forming or joining a team. The Pre-Event Mixer is a good time to find and join a team. It’s important to have a “balanced” and diverse team– the three main skill sets needed for an effective Hackathon team are a Hacker/Coder, a Hustler and a Designer. We suggest that you assemble a team of 3-5 students taking courses in Business/Marketing, Engineering, CIS, Computer Apps, Graphic Design and Multimedia, and/or the Sciences.
